After serving in the Active Duty Navy for a little more than eight years, I couldn't go back to working a "regular job."
I've always wanted to work for myself. I worked in various trades (including lawn care), soaking up everything I could before finally joining the Navy at 27 years of age.
I lost my brother in August. I had dreamt of us working together when I got out - just like we used to. Now, I'm doing this for both of us.
I moved to NC in February and started my business in March. Thus far, things have been going very well.
