I started my business in 2008 and as a young kid I always admired the outcome of the landscapes, and the correct process of the maintenance that is performed due to the passion of the gardener which truly shows and speaks for itself in every job all four seasons of the year. That's the reason I knew someday I would start this line of work for myself. I'm a family man, friendly, and skillful person in maintenance as well as installations.

My name is Alejandro Gurrola. My whole family has been investing in the landscaping business ever since I can remember. From working with my dad as a kid, I picked up a job with my uncle during the summers at the age of 12. By the age of 16, I was back working for my dad's company full-time. With 10+ years of experience, you can trust me with quality work.

My team is professional, we take pride in our work, we enjoy our job and we do this to keep our families fed and our bills paid. We, my boys & I started mowing yards when my boys were in Junior High to help the boys with money for things they wanted to do. The boys usually use the money to travel and play paintball. They were a D5 team in California and they traveled all over the valley, down to L.A. and San Diego, all off the hard work of their labor. As my boys still help when I need them to, I continue to do this because I enjoy it. I enjoy seeing the end result of my work, I enjoy the challenge of working hard for my money. I myself have a full-time job with Tesla in Fremont. But Overtime is not currently being handed out like before and funds are sometimes not what I need to get by on so this mowing lawns fills the gap. I work a night rotating shift. My schedule at Tesla is as follows, Sat, Sun, Mon. 5 pm to 5 am off Tuesday/ Wednesday. Work Thursday/Friday. Vise versa, so I do yards opposite that schedule.

I decided that it was time I did what I wanted to do. A job I like doing instead of taking a job because it pays the bills, and then go to work unhappy. Now is my chance, all my kids are grown and left home. So, I am taking a chance, hard work does pay off.

I finally got to start a business of my own 5 months before COVID hit because I was tired of making other people rich. So I decided to do landscaping. It is something I enjoy, not to mention that I'm my own boss, which is one of the best feelings in the world.
