To help keep money coming in, a friend of mine who had his own landscaping business brought me on to help him on his busier days. What started out as 2-3 days a week quickly became a full time job, which I really enjoyed. Being able to work outside and see the finished product at every customer's property was a great motivator for me to continue learning as much as I could from my boss. This past winter I made the decision to go out on my own and start a business from the ground up.
