Better Lawn Care in Norristown
Welcome to Norristown, a Pensylvania borough of about 35,000 that is, as the city’s motto says, “where you belong."
The roots of the city, some 8 miles outside of Philadelphia, go deep into America’s colonial history. The land on which the city sits was bought in 1704 by Isaac Norris from WIlliam Penn, Jr., son of the colony’s namesake founder.
But there’s much more than history to Norristown today.
Go sightseeing on at Norris Town Farm Park where visitors have reported seeing wildlife including deers, and coyotes. There is a stream running over some rocks that provides a peaceful walk.
Norristown also hosts Elmwood Park Zoo, where guests can feed giraffes. There are rope courses, and a zip-line course that goes over some of the animal enclosures.
Seek thrills of a different sort with refreshments from Five Saints Distilling, located at the old Humane Fire Engine Company No. 1, where craft cocktails are offered. You could also stop in at the Theatre Horizon to enjoy a show, where we have a great community of artists showcasing their talents.
While checking out the sights stop by Selma Mansion, where sightseers can travel back in time and catch a glimpse of life from the past. There are original artifacts here, and visitors might even have an exciting experience.
The Barn Playhouse, owned and operated by The Dramatuers Inc; a not-for-profit educational corporation, is committed to stimulating interest in dramatic art and literature among the residents of Norristown. Visitors report extraordinary experiences with musical and nonmusical performers.
Described as a hidden gem, The Center Theater offers breathtaking shows for both adults and children. The staff is friendly, and the building hosts an elevator one could play on, but there are no guarantees here... Shows tend to sell out quickly, and for a good reason. The shows here are consistently rated 5-stars.
Rated as the third top thing to do in this Pennsylvanian town, Captain Ron's Diving brings the exciting world of scuba diving to visitors at an affordable price.
