When I really couldn't take it anymore, I got Direct Me and joined Lawn Starter through our friends in the ministry. I found out that getting out and mowing lawns helped more with my depression and my overall health. Then medication, not that I'm against medication, but depression and isolation are very horrible things and they can be overcome with God's help and provision, and love from our community.
