Are there watering restrictions in Lebanon, TN?
The City of Lebanon Authority has ordered mandatory water restrictions for all customers.
Authority Executive Director Jon Beers said the Swatara Creek water intake was flooded and only the Siegrist Dam is supplying water.
He said the intake could be out of service for several days.
Beers said the water is being treated and safe to drink.
All customers are required to limit their water use until further notice. Water restrictions examples are:
Do not wash cars, pets, hose down driveways, sidewalks, etc.
No need to water lawns or gardens since mother nature took care of that.
Run full loads of wash only, or wait a few days to do laundry.
Do not top off swimming pools.
Flush the toilets only when necessary.
Take shorter showers and do not run the water while brushing teeth
