I just want to say that this company is the best I've ever used. They are very professional and thorough. The last time they came, they were able to find the problem and take care of it in one visit. They were also very reasonably priced. I will definitely be using them again.

Easy Pest Control in Tempe

Tempe is an eastern suburb of Phoenix, with 200,000 people. Named after the famous Vale Tempe in Greece, this Maricopa County city is the home of Arizona State University. The city offers people a balanced mix of urban and suburban living, with access to parks and nature.

Anyone who loves the great outdoors will enjoy a wide range of parks and nature preserves. Desert Botanical Garden is an outdoor garden focusing on desert flora from around the world. This site has over 50,000 plants, including cacti, mesquite, and other flora indigenous to Arizona. The garden also includes a restaurant, making it an excellent destination for families and friends.

If you're looking for a hike with scenic views, make sure to visit Papago Park. This desert reserve includes hiking trails for many skill levels. Its spectacular rock formations make wonderful day trips, including the famous Hole in the Rock formation. Papago Park also contains Hunt's Tomb, a pyramid marking Arizona's first governor's final resting place.

Families with small children will love LEGOLAND Discovery Center Arizona. This Lego factory offers tours, rides, and an indoor Lego playground. Kids will have a blast meeting their favorite Lego characters, watching 4D movies, or building their own creations.

Visit the Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting. This museum dedicates itself to documenting the history of firefighting equipment and vehicles. Have you ever seen a horse-drawn fire truck? Their collection goes back to the first half of the 18th century. Here you can also find vintage artifacts like helmets, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers. Their motorized fire trucks date from the birth of the automobile to the late 20th century.

Tempe also has a rich and fascinating history. The region was once home to the Hohokam people, who built the most sophisticated system of canals in the prehistoric world. The nearby city of Phoenix has even renovated part of their ancient canal system to bring water into town. Archeologists debate the origin and disappearance of this tribe. Most agree they lived in the area from at least 300 to 1500 A.D.

U.S. settlement in the area began with the creation of a military base, Fort McDowell, in 1865. American soldiers and Hispanic workers settled the area to keep the fort supplied. Darrell Duppa gets the credit for suggesting the name "Tempe." In 1885, the Arizona legislature chose Tempe as the site of the Territorial Normal School. This school would eventually become Arizona State University.

Until the 1960s, Tempe was a "sundown town." These were racially segregated communities in which African Americans could visit but had to leave by sundown. During the 20th century, Tempe grew as a suburb of Phoenix, and today is a thriving community that celebrates its diversity.

However, Tempe is also home to many pests. Locals have to deal with ants, bees, and scorpions. Fortunately, LawnStarter makes pest control easier.
