If you’re a single woman who dreams of being an artist and wants to live around fellow millennials, Addison might be the right Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, suburb for you. What about if you’re a 40-year-old family guy who’s got his eye on a sales job? The suburb of Fate could be your best bet.
How do we know that? Well, we don’t have superpowers or a crystal ball. We simply tested a U.S. Census Bureau app called Dwellr. The easy-to-use app lets you figure out the top 25 U.S. cities that fit your lifestyle based on boatloads of census data.

To come up with the list of suburbs you’ll find in the infographic below, we had to pick from a basket of 11 options on the app. The default options we chose for all eight scenarios were:

The results of our experiment appear in the infographic below, and we hope they’ll provide some inspiration. Each place listed in the infographic was the top-ranked Dallas-Fort Worth suburb for each scenario.
