Nematodes must be kept in a cold environment, at 40\u00b0F, until application. They usually travel with an overnight courier in an isolated box retrofitted with cold packs. <\/p>
Once you take that box in your hands, there’s no time to waste. Leave the coffee on the table and take care of your valuable pest terminators:<\/p>
- Open the package immediately upon receiving it. <\/li>
- Check if the inside of the box is still cold and if the ice packs are frozen. <\/li>

How Nematodes Kill Pest Insects<\/h3>
Nematodes’ killing method is simple. They enter the host insect body through any orifice (mouth, anus, or spiracles – breathing holes). They release bacteria that kills the host and breaks down its tissue. <\/p>
You might say this bacteria marinates the host insect for the nematodes because these little fellows use the dead insect body as a food source and a cozy home. <\/p>
Beneficial nematodes go through six stages during their life cycle:<\/p>
