Bermudagrass<\/b><\/h3>

If you’re like most South Carolinians, you love to use your yard… not just look at it. You want to play on it, have barbecues on it, and do whatever you want without the fear of damaging your lawn. What you need is a grass that can stand up to abuse. <\/span> <\/b><\/p>

Bermudagrass is a warm-season grass and a great choice for South Carolina lawns. Its durability has made it the choice for athletic fields, lawns, and golf courses. If you\u2019re looking for a grass that establishes quickly, spreads fast, and is resistant to drought then Bermuda is a perfect choice. Its dark green color gives your yard that classic look you want. Mix it with other cold season grasses to keep your turf looking green well into winter.<\/span><\/p>

Though, like all grasses, it does have some drawbacks. St. Augustinegrass does not do well with foot traffic and requires monthly fertilization. It is also very susceptible to pests, especially the chinch bug.<\/span><\/p>
